Here is some information of the square dance event: East Texas Square and Round Dance Assoc will be hosting a Fall Extravaganza Square Dance Fundraiser, Sunday November 5, 2017 at the American Legion Hall, Mineola... The public is welcome to come and watch as we entertain you with our “Swing your partner”, “Do-Si-Do” ,”Spin Chain the Gears”, and “Ferris Wheel”, with the enthusiasm and entertainment that all square dancers enjoy.   Come and meet new friends.  You can make some wonderful friends that you wouldn’t have met otherwise. It’s great exercise mentally and physically and you can travel all over the United States [to dance].  “It’s a clean and fun family-oriented type of activity and entertainment that is enjoyed by very young teens up to nonagenarian...  If you are interested in square dance lessons, please ask for Howard and Sandra Rowan, President of the Mineola Railers or any other square dancer at the dance.
